Located in the yard of JW Laycocks [steel merchants] We offer facilities to anyone over 18 years old. Allowing participants to use tools and equipment, not normally available to the home handyman or crafter. We offer help and guidance from fully qualified people . Participants can drop in and work on their own project or participate in community activities. We are a friendly space and attempt to be as fully inclusive as possible.
We have a full range of professional quality equipment for metal and woodworking. Numerous wood lathes, Two metalworking lathes. Mig Tig and Sick Welders. Foundry and metal forging equipment... Large format laser and CNC router tables are also available to use.
Costs to users are as low as we can make them. £70 per year and you can pay in instalments.. There's also a small daily charge of £3 to cover the cost of coffee and biscuits
We work with East Riddleden Hall on a regular basis. We have been gifted two turning blank of the iconic Sycamore Gap tree. We will be making something beautiful from these blanks.
